HDD Capacity Restore is a freeware tool that allows you to restore full factory capacity of any hard drive. It recovers LBA48 modes, DCO and HPA. It does everything automatically: it extracts the factory capacity; then it restores the factory LBA48, HPA and DCO settings.

 HDD Capacity Restore downloaded and installed just fine. However, it would have been nice to be made aware of it\'s limitations, especially that it will not work if you only have one HDD on your laptop, and that\'s the one you want to affect. When attempting to affect the HDD, received notice that the software could not remove the HDD, and suggested I remove it manually. No idea how to do that.
 This program may work on some computers but does not work at all on 64bit computers so unless you are using the old 32bit software don\'t bother to download and try.
 Hi did the download of HDD Capacity Restore.Managed to restore the factory capacity of my 1TB Hitachi HDD but when i Look at the capacity in disk management or device management it still says 28.9 MB if i try to use the HDD capcity restore tool again it says the Hard drive is already at maximum capacity 1024 Gigabyte. what can i do?

Unfortunately, it does not detect or support the SATA Maxtor 6V250f0 drive, even with raid disabled in BIOS.
Wouldn\'t work on my system. Didn\'t like windows 7.

Unable to use Mimosa for other purpose I was looking for software to assist an athletic director with keeping track of scheduled use of a single high school gym. (Consequently, we needed it for only one location, but multiple users.) I worked with the software for more than an hour and found it to be too complex for our purposes. Since many school employees have limited computer literacy unless it relates directly to their job, whatever software we identified had to be easy to use.
